Walking in Lama temple

Lama temple, Beijing, at the end of a ceremony, a monk is leaving the assembly. The hundreds of visitors coming to this place every day seem to be only shadows for the monks praying in this very old and famous temple.

The Lama temple itself  is stucked between highways, fastfood and parkings… as a symbol of the old powerful empire forgotten in the fast growing China. Yet, life in this place didnt really change in centuries, and prayers are still paying respect to the old and impressive 18m high Buddha.
